TESTIMONIALS

Sebelas Maret University is one of the top universities in Indonesia. I am proud to say that I was a part of Sebelas Maret University where I received my Bachelor and Master degree in Faculty of Agriculture. The faculty provides what environmental improvement needs as required by my job as Expert Ecotourism and Agroforestry in Perum Perhutani (Indonesian Forestry Company) which prioritized land conservation and food security in Indonesia. I learnt alot from my courses and most of them are beneficial in my work. Some of them even applicable and help me alot in doing my job. In my study I was thought to appreciate scientific matters so we can think and work systematically in every situation and condition.

It was the moment when there was full of romance. There were many factors stimulating creativity so most students were not just clever but smart. During our study, we learnt how to be creative and how to survive in every condition. These abilities are definitely benefial and are the key to success. Currently, I am the finance director in a company engaged in a aviation navigation industry (AirNav Indonesia). I Learn that well-known achievements and the high spirit of learning is inseparable, and there is no limitation of age, place, and status for learning.

I was studying at the Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Sebelas Maret, from 1986 to 1991, majoring Socio-Economics of Agriculture.During that moment, the majority lecturers in the courses were not merely delivering agricultural knowledge but also educating students to think analytically and systematically. These abilities (analytical and systematical thinking)are important skills required by any career. Interaction with friends and lecturers has taught me how to effectively communicate and present my idea to others. This experience has been proven useful for supporting my career. My special thanks to faculty of agriculture UNS, my classmates in the yearof 1986, Prof. Dr. Ir. Totok Mardikanto, MS (alm.), Dr. Ir. Bambang Sarosa, MS as well as the lecturers and staff.
